Judy Moody-Stuart

Born in 1941, trained as a research chemist at Cambridge, Judy has lived in Brunei, Nigeria, Holland, Malaysia, Australia and Turkey.  Between 1982 and 1986 she lived in Istanbul.  Her husband, Sir Mark Moody-Stuart KCMG, was representing Royal Dutch Shell in Turkey in those years - and was also chairman of the British Community Council. During that time she learned Turkish, working as okutman in Ingiliz Filologisi at Beyazit University. She currently lives in London and Sussex, visits Turkey regularly, and sits on the board of eight other charitable enterprises concerned largely with education and social exclusion active in UK as well as in Holland, Zambia, Bangladesh, USA, and Turkey.
