The Council was
formed in 1942 and represents all sections of the British Community in
Istanbul. Its role is to coordinate the various activities and
interests within the community. The purpose of the Council is, amongst
other matters, to foster British – Turkish relations, including
cultural, educational and supporting good
causes.

From 15 June 2010, applications for full validity passports for British Nationals will no longer be processed in the British Consulate in Istanbul.

BCC ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2010
The BCC AGM was held at the British Consulate General on THURSDAY 25th MARCH 2010 at 6.30 p.m., by kind permission of and co-hosted by HBM Consul General. Minutes of the meeting

We are also actively
seeking new recruits to the Council. It involves attending, when possible, one two hour evenining meeting a month, and then helping with the organization and administration
